FeCoVitA (La Federación de Cooperativas Vitivinicolas Argentinas) is Argentina’s largest wine producer (and tenth largest in the world), bottling and bagging over a million litres of wine per day.
Its roots date back to 1885, when immigrants Juan Giol and Bautista Gargantini, from Italy and Switzerland, crossed the Atlantic in search of fame and fortune. Upon arriving in Argentina, they heard that the provincial government of Mendoza was offering free train passes and a piece of land for those who knew about vineyard cultivation and wine production. They signed up and moved to Mendoza.
Today, the winery continues their legacy and pursues new dreams, working together to ensure sustainable winemaking in the local communities and produce superb wines for export.
The winery besides being the number one in sales for Argentinian domestic market exports to more than 30 countries worldwide.
