Founded next to the fireplace in their favourite pub, by two friends… as all good businesses are! Having collectively spent almost forty years in the industry, Benjamin Naylor and Dominic Harmsworth came to the growing realisation that there was space in the export markets for wines that genuinely over-delivered on quality without effecting pricing.

Benjamin and Dominic felt Chile’s portfolio had started to rely too much on the tried-and-trusted method of providing safe and reasonably valued wines; and, was missing out on the opportunity of upping its game to supply exciting wines at low prices.

So, an idea was born… initially they used their experience to provide a sales service to most of Chile’s top ten wineries. However, in December 2015 they fused the Chilean operation of their company, Terra Bendita, with one of the producing region’s great up-and-coming wineries, Bodegas y Viñedos de Aguirre, harnessing a wealth of knowledge with a superb technical team capable of supplying the essence of what they were looking for: exciting wines at sustainable, great value. Terra Bendita’s founding principles are essential ingredients for what it believes leads to long term growth: great wines, sustainable low pricing; and, a professionally supported post-sales service.
